Herr Memorial Library presents “The Bibbidi Bobbidi Book Reading Challenge.” The reading challenge is open to children of all ages and will run May 17th thru June 7th. The challenge is designed to encourage children to read more library books, as well as, challenge readers to step out of their comfort zones. We will provide some reading suggestions and include books with topics on royal life, kings, queens, princesses, princes, castles, tea parties, fairies, magic, crowns, dancing, knights, jewels and fairy tales to name a few.
Children participating in the reading challenge must read, or be read to by a caregiver, at least ten books. An entry form, complete with rules and reading suggestions, can be picked up at the Circulation Desk of the library. After the books are read and participants have completed an entry form noting their list of book titles, they can be turned in at the Library Circulation Desk or Children’s Library area. There will be two winners who will get to select a prize from our prize basket and have their names mentioned in a future press release and on our Facebook page.
